Dr. Grammont was trained during her Ph.D in\u00a0<em>Drosophila<\/em>\u00a0development\u00a0by\u00a0Dr Jean-Louis Couderc, a PI at\u00a0the\u00a0GReD Institute in Clermont-Ferrand (France). She did her post-doc in Kenneth Irvine\u2019s laboratory at Rutger\u2019s University (NJ, USA) and became a CNRS researcher in 2002 in Clermont-Ferrand (France). She established her own group in 2010 in Lyon, in\u00a0the\u00a0CGphiMC laboratory before joining\u00a0the\u00a0ENS\u00a0of\u00a0Lyon in 2012. Dr. Grammont has directed\u00a0the\u00a0work\u00a0of\u00a0four Ph.D. students, two post-doctoral fellows, and several research associates and technicians.\u00a0The\u00a0team is currently composed\u00a0of\u00a03 permanent researchers (MG, an Assistant Professor and a research associate), two Ph.D students and a 2<sup>nd<\/sup>-year Master student.
