Seminar on CSE

Quantum computing is a modern or advanced form of computing that makes use of principles of quantum mechanics to carry out complex calculations much more effectively than classical computers. Classical computers make use of bits as the basic unit on which information may be 0 or 1. A quantum computer, on the other hand, consists of quantum bits or qubits. It uses the simultaneous setting of states 0 and 1 and allows certain calculations to be performed faster than conventional computers.

Computer vision can be described as the study of enabling machines to interpret and understand visual information from the world around them. It involves using computer algorithms, and machine learning among other methods to analyze images and video data and extract useful insights and patterns in order to even solve problems. Computer vision has many practical applications in fields such as object detection, facial recognition, and medical imaging among others. By giving machines sight or the ability to “see” like humans via actually giving them a camera lens, computer vision is helping revolutionize many industries across the globe along with improving our daily lives.
