Job Description

The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Pune is a premier
institute dedicated to research and teaching in the basic sciences. It was established in
2006 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (renamed Ministry of Education
in August 2020). In 2012, IISER Pune was declared as an Institute of National
Importance by an Act of Parliament.

Candidates having experience in handling the following
techniques will be preferred:
 Demonstrable experience in Photography,
Videography and video editing, which includes
experience with leading professional hardware and
software.
 The candidate must have excellent interpersonal
and social skills.
 The candidate must be willing to travel to remote
villages and districts across India.
 Prior involvement in education outreach,
particularly in STEM, would be very useful.
 Expertise in Graphics and animation is a major plus.
 The candidate is expected to be proficient in English
and Hindi. Proficiency in Marathi is a plus.
 A proven track record with handling Social Media
outreach for an established organization is a major
plus.
