Bio Layer Interferometry – Octet® R4 Protein Analysis System

The 4-channel Octet® R4 instrument can be used for a wide range of analyses including kinetic analysis, titer of IgG and other proteins, reagent qualification, immunoassay development, bioprocess development, quality analysis, crude antibody screening, epitope binning/mapping, ligand binding assays, and small molecule analysis, elucidating cell signaling mechanisms, and infectious disease monitoring. Faculty Incharge: Dr. Soumit… Continue reading Bio Layer Interferometry – Octet® R4 Protein Analysis System

GCMS with HSS (Agilent)

For analysis of low molecular weight volatile and semi-volatile organic and inorganic compounds. EI and CI ionization sources with GC-FID (G3540A-Agilent 8890), GC-MSD (7078B) detectors and HSS 7697A (G4556A). Head Space provides an inert sample pathway for superior gas chromatography performance without analyte degradation or loss. Faculty In charge: Dr. Sudipta Roy

Fluorescence Correlation Spectrometer (FCS)

Fluorescence Correlation Spectrometer (FCS) is a diffusion-based single-molecule technique. In this technique, spontaneous fluorescence fluctuation is collected from very few molecules as they diffuse in and out of a tiny observation volume (~1 fL) over time. The fluorescence fluctuations are correlated to obtaining dynamic information contained in the fluctuation. By analyzing the correlation curve with suitable models, one can quantitatively measure diffusion coefficient, viscosity, chemical kinetics, size, etc.
