The Intercity Number Theory Seminar is a two-day seminar, which is initiated by Mathematicians from IMSc, CMI, IIT Madras, IISER Tirupati, and IIT Tirupati who are working in Number Theory and related areas. The Seminar will take place twice a year.
The Seminar is aimed at fostering and nurturing mathematical interactions between mathematicians working in academic institutes located in Chennai and Tirupati. The Seminar also serves as a platform for graduate students and young post-docs to announce and communicate their work with experts in the field.
Participation in the seminar is by invitation. However, researchers or students, who are interested in attending the Seminar, are encouraged to approach the organisers, and a limited number of applicants are selected to participate in the Seminar.
